Valentine’s Day Outfit Inspiration (For Every Budget)

Valentine’s Day is just about two weeks away and I wanted to share some of my favorite Valentine’s Day worthy outfits for those of you who are looking for some inspiration. Whether you are celebrating with that special someone, with friends, with family or treating yourself, I am excited to share some of my favorite looks that are friendly for a variety of budgets.

My husband and I don’t have one specific Valentine’s Day date tradition. We like to change things up every year! One year we’ll stay in and my husband will cook for us, the next year we’ll go out on a dinner date or see a show together. Regardless of the day of the week Valentine’s Day falls on or how busy we are, one thing remains the same. Every Valentine’s Day we do our best to set aside some time to focus on just the two of us. If we are going out, rest assured that I love getting dressed up.

If we go out on a date for Valentine’s Day, you can probably find me in a cute dress or wearing a festive number like this Saloni top can see me wearing in the pictures above. This bright red top is vibrant and feminine. You can easily pair it with a white, a black or an indigo pair of jeans. I’m wearing it with one of my favorite form fitting cropped Sydney skinny jeans from Topshop available at Nordstrom. I love that you can also re-wear this Saloni top for a variety of occasions. I’ll likely wear it again out with friends or to a Cornell event this spring since it’s in one of my favorite colors…Cornell red!

At the same time, truth be told, my husband and I are homebodies. While I love a surprise getaway or a date night out, I am equally happy to stay in on Valentines Day where you’ll find me wearing something cozier like these sweatpants (they are so incredibly soft) and this Valentine’s Day themed top.

Last, add a layering necklace to this look. I’m loving them right now. Some of my favorites are from Dyad and they will go with absolutely everything in your closet.

Whether you are shopping or browsing, thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some inspiration my suggestions!
